Thanks for this.  I was just saying yesterday that I am so tired of people saying &quot;the bible says so and so&quot;. I can read what the bible says - the trouble I run into is knowing what the bible means, and not just what it means but what it means for us, in this time and this place. In addition to that I am tired of people who act like there opinion/beliefs are validated by pulling out several scriptures to support it ignoring the scriptures that seemingly contradict their position.  Then when you try to address the contradiction they say &quot;the Bible says so and so&quot;.</description>
